Text Box: The Roswell 2nd Amendment Task Force is a social group of like minded individuals . While the Roswell 2nd Amendment Task Force may be now, or in the future associated with other groups in mutually beneficial tasks and goals, we will remain an INDIVIDUAL GROUP not bound by actions, agreements, or the statements of any other group or other groups representative (s). The goal of the Charter Members of the Roswell 2nd Amendment Task Force is to Educate, Encourage, Empower, and promote the further knowledge of Our Constitution, Our Rights, and the Safe and Responsible use of firearms in our society. Showing by example that the ownership, use, and carrying of firearms by citizens of these United States is now, as in the past, not a reason to be stigmatized, ostracized, or outcast. To show that an armed citizen helps to make our society stronger, safer, and helps guarantee that all our rights remain intact. We believe that without the 2nd Amendment put into the Constitution by our Founding Fathers in their great wisdom, we would not be able to enjoy what rights we still have today. We can look back over the last hundred years and see that the politicians that are supposed to be protecting us, have been slowly chipping away at our rights. With this in mind, while our group focus is centered on the 2nd amendment to the Constitution, we are determined to take the lead as necessary when any of our rights are threatened or lost, to regain that threatened or lost right as it is determined by the Constitution. We will accomplish this by education of the members of our group and any others that wish our assistance as to the content of our Constitution, amendments to the Constitution, and infringements of the Constitution. EDUCATION  is the most important step for the simple reason,  if the citizens of our great Country do not know what their rights are, how will they know what they have lost, or are in the process of losing.
